ODYSSEY Electron Sharing offers molecular models that intentionally omit ad hoc "bonds." Instead, the visualization focuses solely on the nuclei and the electron cloud, which is illustrated through various isosurfaces of electron density. Derived from rigorous first principles calculations, these models deliver an unbiased and authentic perspective of several common substances.

The collection includes models for an individual water molecule, a pair of interacting water molecules, and a corresponding droplet-like cluster. Additionally, multiple electron density surfaces are provided for a diverse array of 30 molecules, ions, and bulk samples. Users can intuitively manipulate the models to examine them from any angle and at various zoom levels. Quantitative assessments regarding bond presence can be conducted by measuring distances and angles.
